So as you know, on Every 12th instead of having church we go out and BE THE CHURCH! And since we are in a global pandemic, we are doing something that has never been done before in the history JRoad, and it's called the...

The Every 12th at Home Challenge!

The challenge is simple, complete one of these outreach-minded tasks on Sunday December 6th, and let us know! You can do them by yourself or with your family. So here they are:

  1. Prayer walk around your neighborhood and pick up trash.

  2. Write a letter or Christmas card to a friend, family member or neighbor. In the card share the gospel, or how you came to faith in Jesus, or an encouragement that points to Jesus.

  3. Make cookies or baked goods and drop them off to a neighbor or friend with a card. In the card share the gospel, or how you came to faith in Jesus, or an encouragement that points to Jesus.

  4. Share your testimony of coming to Jesus on facebook or instagram either in written form or record a video.

Once you've done one of these challenges let us know! Take a pic of yourself doing it and email to jim@jroadchurch.org or text it to me. I'd love to see them and share them with the rest of the church. You are also welcome to take a pic doing your task and share it on social media with the hashtag "#EVERY12"

**If anyone does all 4 and can prove it we will give you a prize! They all have to be done on Every 12th to count :) )

In addition to The Every 12th at Home Challenge,we have 2 physical sites that you can participate in.

1. Walking Steele Neighborhood and cleaning the streets. (This is outdoors and kid friendly!) We will meet at church at 9:30am Sunday Dec. 6th and walk from there.

2. Helping out at the Christmas Store (Set up, decorating, pricing, ect.) Mask required for this since it is indoors. And we will meet at 9:30am Sunday Dec. 6th.
