Intimacy with Jesus

We demonstrate this by overemphasizing the importance of a private, close relationship with Jesus, and walking with Him daily. (John 15:4-6  Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.  If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.)

Being the Church

Every believer has a gift from God, who wants them to use those gifts to build up the church, serving the underserved, and to bring the Gospel outside the church walls.  We also demonstrate this by pushing everyone in our church to take a step outside of their comfort zone for Jesus. (Being Missional) (1 Corinthians 12:4-7  Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit;  and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord;  and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.)

Vulnerability

We demonstrate this by being transparent and honest about our weaknesses and sin so as to create a culture of authenticity.  (2 Corinthians 6:11,13  We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians, and opened wide our hearts to you...open wide your hearts also.)

Multiplication

We are  a church that plants churches and creates disciples who create disciples. And be leaders who replicate themselves.  (2 Timothy 2:2 and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.)

Diversity

We recognize all people are created in God’s image and have value.  We will strive for diversity of race, culture, and income. We will pursue unity not uniformity.  (1 Corinthians 12:12 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.)
