Every 12th Sunday instead of having church, we go out and BE THE CHURCH. There is a misconception that the church consists of 4 walls, bricks, and mortar. This couldn’t be further from the truth. The Church is a body of people (Romans 12:5). The Church is you and me. We can be the church anytime and anywhere. To show that we are serious about this, we live it out by breaking out of our normal typical Sunday service to go out into the community! We serve through meeting physical needs of neighbors, supporting and working for local organization that help those in need, and sometimes even helping members of our JRoad family who need extra help with projects at their home. We share by sending all of our participants out with the mission to serve joyfully unto the Lord, share their testimony of how Christ changed their lives, and pray and intercede for those they are serving or run across.
