How it all started...
God through our founding Pastor Justin Thornton started Jericho Road Church as a church plant back in 2008 with the Christian & Missionary Alliance. It started with a small group of people in a living room. God kept growing the church where they needed to have service in various places like night clubs, bars, and finally landing in a traditional church building we are in now on 930 Creston St. We believe God is calling us to reach the lost, equip the found, and, send willing, to saturate Muskegon with the Gospel of Christ Jesus.
Moving Into Steele Neighborhood
Jericho Road Church wanted to be in a neighborhood, rather than a building in the middle of nowhere. We wanted to be near people so we could be the Church and live out the gospel to others. God answered our prayers and did something miraculous when a congregation sold us their building on 930 Creston St.
Where we are headed...
Where we are headed is simple. We are trying to saturate steele neighborhood, along with all of Muskegon with the Gospel.
